ME is the debut single album by Jisoo. It was released on March 31, 2023, with "FLOWER" serving as the title track.

The physical album comes in six versions: CD (Black, Red), KiT, Tag LP (A, B), and vinyl (Limited).

Background

On January 2, YG announced in a press release that Jisoo would be releasing her solo album sometime this year.

On February 21, YG revealed that the music video would be filmed overseas and that it has the highest production cost out of all BLACKPINK music videos.

On March 6, a teaser poster was posted which announced that Jisoo would be debuting on March 31. Three days later, it was revealed that Jisoo would be releasing her debut single album titled ME.

Composition

“ This spring, Jisoo will finally return with her first solo album. As the final runner of BLACKPINK's solo project that music fans around the world have been eagerly awaiting, expectations are high. The album title is [ME], which fully embodies Jisoo's confidence as a solo artist. She is expected to capture everyone's hearts with a new charm, different from what she has shown so far. This solo album consists of two tracks, the title track "FLOWER" and "All Eyes On Me." A powerful lineup of writers, including TEDDY, who has been with BLACKPINK since their debut, Vince, KUSH, VVN, 24, and R.TEE, lent their support. People are even more excited to see what new capabilities and possibilities Jisoo, an "all-rounder" who has established herself as a global artist, will show through this album. ― Official Introduction
