Japan Arena Tour 2018 |
BLACKPINK Japan Arena Tour 2018 is Black Pink's first arena tour which was held in various cities in Japan. The first half of the concert began on July 24, 2018 and ended on July 25, 2018. The second half of the concert was held on August 16, 2018.
According to YG Entertainment, the quartet will play eight arena dates in Japan, performing to an estimated 66,000 people. The tour will end with a concert which will be held on December 24, 2018.
Background[]
To promote their 1st Japanese extended play BLACKPINK announced they would be holding a tour of Japan. 6 shows were initially released with an extra being added in Chiba due to overwhelming demand, the tour officially began on the 24th of July in Osaka. On July 7, the final stop of the tour was added for December 24 at Kyocera Dome Osaka as a Christmas gift to their fans, which made them the first overseas girl-group to perform at a domed stadium in Japan, after having debut for only a year and four months They embarked on their first concert tour of Japan titled "BLACKPINK Arena Tour 2018" in Osaka on July 24-25.
